Junior Penetration Tester & Cyber Security Analyst
Ryan is a Junior Penetration Tester and Cyber Security Analyst. In the last 12-18 months he has become Ascentor’s lead assessor for IASME certifications and become a cyber scheme team member.
At the beginning of his career, Ryan was given the opportunity by Adrian Burns to work as a security analyst for Secure Business Computing Solutions, the company then was acquired by Ascentor and the Amtivo group which enabled him to progress quickly in the early stage of his career. The majority of Ascentor have a military background and Ryan is no different, his was telecommunications based in a high readiness squadron of the Commando Engineers. As a certified ethical hacker and cyber scheme team member, his ambition lies within the penetration testing role. Ryan can audit the security posture of other companies by certifying them with many of IASME’s certifications. This gives clients the opportunity to show they are cyber aware and cyber secure to their clients in order to gain trust and confidence.
In his spare time, Ryan enjoys family life and entertaining his wife and two young children. He’s a huge Liverpool fan and his entertainment is very much football-orientated.
