Head of Management Systems
Paul has an extensive background in the development, implementation, certification and ongoing maintenance of a variety of management systems. Prior to joining Ascentor, Paul was the Operations Director for a UKAS-accredited Certification Body, played a key role in a management systems consultancy and had 22 years’ experience in the British Army with the Royal Electrical Mechanical Engineers.
Paul is a Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment) and OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 (Health & Safety) as well as having knowledge and experience in ISO 17021 (Certification Body Requirements), ISO 17025 (Testing and Calibration Laboratories), Wood and Paper Chain of Custody (FSC and PEFC), ISO 17065 (Products, Processes and Services Certification), ISO 22301 (Business Continuity), Achilles, CHAS and Safe Contractor Certification, FORS Certification, ISO 22000 (Food Safety), BS 1090 (Conformity Assessment of Structural Components), ISO 18404 (Lean and Six Sigma Principles and Qualifications), Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) and BS 1279-6 (Factory Production Control for Glass in Building).
With experience of working with companies in the construction, manufacturing, facilities management, IT, printing, recruitment, waste management and health care sectors, Paul can bring his knowledge of a wide range of best practices to help improve your organisation.
Paul works with clients in the Birmingham, Kidderminster, Manchester, Shrewsbury, Stafford, Stoke-on-Trent, Tamworth, Telford, Walsall and Wolverhampton areas.
